Flaxmore Moutere Pinot Gris 2019 4 1/2 stars

Estate-grown, hand-picked and tank-fermented in the Moutere hills, the 2019 vintage is a mouth-filling, dryish wine with good weight and a distinct touch of complexity. Showing plenty of character, it has pear, citrus, lychee and spice flavours, a real sense of youthful vigour, savoury notes and a long finish. 

Flaxmore Moutere Rosé 2019 4 1/2 stars

Bargain-priced, the 2019 vintage is a ‘serious’ style of rosé, from hand-picked Pinot Noir, estate-grown in the Moutere hills. Pale pink, it is mouth-filling, with strong peach, apricot and spice flavours, a touch of tannin and a dry finish. Delicious drinking!
